S.A.C. meeting has been organized by KVK, Patan on 28th February, 2024 at Conference Hall of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Samoda- Ganwada, District - Patan. After the welcome speech and discussion of the purpose of the meeting, Dr. Upesh Kumar (Sr.Sci. & Head- K.V.K., Patan) was presented action taken report of last S.A.C. and major achievement of K.V.K. Patan during Jan.-2024 to December-2024. He has also presented the Annual Action Plan of K.V.K. for the year January to December, 2025. Dr. Upesh Kumar also presented the works done by Krishi Vigyan Kendra during this period under convergence model for promotion of different agricultural technologies like- self seed production, organic farming in cumin & chickpea, Kitchen garden, crop diversification etc with different allied department as well as NGOs in the district.

He is given the presentation for the efforts made under Innovative programme- Digital Farm School operated in collaboration with Reliance  Foundation, Patan for the promotion of the technology of selected crop- cumin under One District One Product in the district.

          All Subject Matter Specialist have Presented their Progress report from January-2024 to December-2024 & Annual Action Plan of January, 2025 to December, 2025. The work done by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra during this period was appreciated by the SAC member. Suggestions were invited by the chairman of the meeting from honourable SAC members for the betterment of farming community in the district. After discussion in the SAC meeting, the following valuable suggestions were given by the honourable SAC members for the development of agriculture of the district.

After completion of quorum of SAC meeting, the Programme was inaugurated by Shri. M.L.Patel Director, Saraswati Gram Vidyapeeth; Dr. A.G.Patel, D.E.E. S.D.A.U. S.K.Nagar; Shri K. P. Rathod Project Director ATMA, Patan by enlighting of lamp.  Dr. Upesh Kumar, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK, Patan is welcome to Chairman of SAC Meeting and other Respected S.A.C. member with flower bookey.

Promotion of Kharif fennel, KVK conduct training – 02 No  & OFT 01 on intercropping of fennel with cauliflower

KVK Scientist should be provide technical backup to FPOs

 

KVK work as a member of advisory committee of FPOs

KVK regularly provide the technical support to FPOs & focus on seed production, organic farming

Participate in AGB of Banas FPO- 1300 FPO Member

KVK create awareness on IFS system & submit project proposal to NABARD, Patan for establishment of IFS model at KVK 

KVK always promote farming community to adopt IFS model for enhancing farm profitability

For establishment of IFS model at KVK, KVK submit project to NABARD & regularly touch for approval of project

Awareness programme on climate change technologies in agriculture 

For awareness of climate resilient technology, KVK conduct 02 No of training (112 P)  & demonstration on climate resilient technology (Black gram in Castor & Cotton -in 1223 ha

Provide training on value addition in fruits & vegetables to Anganwadi Workers. 

KVK conduct 02 No of training to Aaganwadi workers & 02 No Kishori mela & World women day for promotion of women friendly technologies

KVK conduct awareness to farm women on kitchen garden
